The Ohio Republican Party announced their endorsement of State Representative Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) today in his campaign for Ohio Senate District 26 in the March primary. The 26
District includes Crawford, Marion, Morrow, Sandusky, Seneca, Union, and Wyandot Counties. The endorsement comes just one day after Ohio Republican Party Chairman Jane Timken hosted President Donald Trump at filled-to-capacity rally in Toledo.
Of the endorsement, Reineke expressed gratitude.
“I deeply appreciate the support of Chairman Timken and leaders of the Ohio Republican Party for my State Senate campaign. I have been a conservative Republican my entire life and have consistently supported our shared values as a state representative. The Ohio Republican Party is one of the premier powerhouse organizations in the country, consistently electing conservatives all across our state. I’m grateful to the State Central Committee for their support and look forward to continue working with them now and in the future.”
The Ohio Republican Party endorsement follows a pattern of consistent conservative support for Reineke. Last summer, the Seneca County Republican Party endorsed Reineke unanimously. The campaign announced a team of conservative chairmen for each of the district’s seven counties, which include incumbent Senator Dave Burke and State Representative Riordan McClain. Last week, Reineke announced the endorsements from State Attorney General Dave Yost, State Treasurer Robert Sprague, and Auditor of State Keith Faber.
State Representative Bill Reineke was raised in Fostoria and is the eldest of ten children. A graduate of Morehead State University, Reineke has spent his career in business in northwest Ohio, employing over 450 Ohioans. Reineke was first elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2014 and is a leader on workforce development issues. A 100% pro-life, pro-2
Amendment conservative, Reineke is a thirty-year resident of Tiffin and is a proud father of his two adult daughters, Suzanne and Jacquelyn.
