A Fresh Look, A Familiar Face
We’re excited to announce the debut of Carnegie Hill Neighbors’ new logo, unveiled last week at our Spring Benefit—featuring two complementary iterations: the door and the transom.
Our image is inspired by a door from Goat Hill, the historic row of townhouses (129-143 East 95th Street) designed by Frank Wennemer in 1890. With its unique history, notable residents, architectural treasures, and recollections of kinship and pride among neighbors, this block embodies the essence of Carnegie Hill.
Just as a transom over a door allows natural light to flood a space, we celebrate not only the architectural beauty of our historic surroundings but also our commitment to creating an environment where every resident feels informed, included, and inspired.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Spring Benefit last week! It was a wonderful evening filled with conversation, connection, and community spirit.
We were proud to honor longtime neighborhood advocate and long time CHN President, Lo van der Valk, with Dan Garodnick, Chair of the New York City Planning Commission, presenting him with a special award in recognition of his decades of service.
A special thank you to our incredible co-chairs—Punch Hutton, Kelly Milam, and Natalia Torres - for making this year’s Spring Benefit truly unforgettable. We’re also so grateful to our wonderful volunteers, whose energy and support added so much to the evening.

Last week, we also unveiled our Spring Benefit merchandise collection, debuting the new Carnegie Hill Neighbors logo. If you missed it, don’t worry—it’s now available online!
A highlight of the collection is our brand-new Carnegie Hill Coloring Book—a 35-page illustrated journey celebrating the neighborhood’s iconic landmarks, cherished local businesses, and historic blocks.
