On Sunday we began a new series of messages for the fall called Relationship Works.
To kick this series off, we established that GOD exists as an eternal relationship-- Father, Son & Holy Spirit! When God made humans, He made them in His Image -- male and female to reflect the relationship that He has within Himself. It wasn't good to make one.... Adam felt it that being alone was NOT GOOD. He was made for relationship with Eve and with GOD. The "triangle" of relationship that we have (reflecting the Trinity) looks like this:
So Relationships are from God, by God, to God and God exists in an eternal relationship! This just sets the table for where we are going in the upcoming fall series around relationships... we hope to see you and learn together as a whole church family around this vital topic -- Relationship Works!

Concert on the San Carlos Reservation in Arizona
It's not "just" a concert, it's a cooperative. Through 3:18 Ministries , we are bringing top tier rappers that are NOT coming to just sing a song and leave. They are coming to be with the Apache people. To share their stories about life in Christ and to really see San Carlos at ground level. We are seeking to bring multiple entities inside and outside the res together in partnership and through that, raise awareness. The concert will be held October 15, 2017. I leave for North Carolina on September 3rd to take a 2-week language acquisition training course to help me discover my style of language learning and equip me with knowledge to dive into Japanese study effectively before I enroll in full-time language school in Osaka. Though I've taken some Japanese classes in the States already, I've got my work cut out for me as Japanese is one of the most difficult languages in the world for English speakers. Pray for God's grace in language acquisition as well!
