A Financial Crimes & Social Media Scams Presentation

Monday - May 19th

Join detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit for an eye-opening presentation on social media scams, identity theft, and the impact of financial crimes on the community. Learn how to recognize common scams, safeguard your personal information, and take steps to protect yourself online.



The session will conclude with a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and get expert advice from Financial Crimes Unit personnel.

Chair Yoga for Adults

Join us with Mid-Bergen Regional Health Commission as they lead a monthly series of chair yoga classes.


Chair Yoga provides a gentle yet effective form of exercise tailored for individuals who may have limited mobility or prefer to practice yoga while seated. This class focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and relaxation through a series of seated yoga poses and breathing exercises.

Long Term Care: Know your Options

Long-term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a person’s health or personal care needs when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own, to help them live as independently and safely as possible. Studies have shown that most adults do not feel prepared to handle the costs of long-term care and have not taken financial or practical steps to plan for care needs that might arise in the future.

Beginner's Line Dancing

Wednesday - May 28th (first class!)

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Join instructor Joan Colombo as she teaches us how to line dance! Line dancing is a form of synchronized dancing in which dancers are arranged in rows or lines. Dancers move in unison, so no partners are required. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, line dancing is for everybody!


Beginner’s Line Dancing is an easy and energizing way to get some exercise while enjoying some great music and good company.

The Seeing Eye Puppy Program

Tuesday - May 13th

The Seeing Eye Puppy program based out of Morristown will educate participants about blindness and how people who are blind gain greater independence through Seeing Eye dogs. During this presentation, you'll discover how we breed, raise, and train puppies to become service dogs and how they get matched with their forever homes.
