Ventura, Calif. - Ventura Mayor Joe Schroeder will present the annual State of the City Address at two events hosted on Thursday, May 25, 2023. The presentation will provide an overview of the City’s budget, Council adopted initiatives, business and operational updates, recent accomplishments from various City departments, and goals for the future.
“Presenting the State of the City Address for 2023 fills me with excitement as we highlight the accomplishments of the past year and share our vision for moving forward with teamwork and innovation leading the way,” shared Ventura Mayor Joe Schroeder. “This annual event provides an opportunity for the public to learn more and ask questions about current City initiatives.”
The first presentation of the State of the City address will be hosted on May 25 by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Ventura, located at 450 E. Harbor Blvd. This presentation is a ticketed event. To learn more or register online, visit VenturaChamber.com.
The second presentation will be hosted from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of Ventura County, located at 100 E. Main Street. This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the State of the City address starting at 6:00 p.m. Spanish interpretation will be provided during the event.
Seating at the event hosted at the Museum is limited. Community members interested in attending are encouraged to register online through the City’s website.
