Ventura, Calif. — The Parks & Recreation 2023 Spring Activity Guide is now available online at www.cityofventura.ca.gov/ActivityGuide. Registration begins Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.

The Spring Activity Guide features classes, events, and programs for all ages from January through May. Residents can register online, by mail, or in person at City Hall, Room 226, 501 Poli Street. Registration information and policies can be found on page 39 in the Activity Guide.

“The 2023 Spring Activity Guide is one of the most visually colorful and interactive versions we’ve created so far,” said Recreation Manager Emily Fox. “Residents can flip through the pages online or in-print and find over 150 classes offered in areas such as aquatics, adult sports, youth camps, theatre, art, special events, and more.”

All City of Ventura residents will receive a printed copy of the Spring Activity Guide in the mail. Additional copies are available for pick-up at City Hall and other City facilities during business hours, including the Westpark Community Center, Barranca Vista Community Center, Ventura Aquatics Center, and Ventura Avenue Adult Center.

View the Citywide news section on pages 44 and 47, with information on the Mayor’s 2022 State of the City Address, community survey results, and current park improvement projects.

The City of Ventura Parks and Recreation Department maintains over 800 acres of park and open space, including two golf courses, three community centers, three community gardens, and the Ventura Aquatic Center. Over 2,000 recreation programs are offered annually.
