Religious School Tikkun Olam Initiative!
Lego Event at the Carver Center

Students, teachers and parents participated in an afternoon of lego fun at the Carver Center!

Temple B'nai Chaim students and The Carver Center students joined together for games, building activities, photo booth, cupcake decorating, and more!

We collected loads of legos and baked and decorated batches of cookies as part of this social action initiative event. We had great participation and helped to make a difference!

Thank you to Dana Czuczka and Stacy Barenberg, and all of our teachers, and parent volunteers that help made this program so special!
Tu B'Shevat Celebration
February 12, 2017

Classes will be celebrating the beautiful beginning of the spring holiday of
Tu B'Shevat on February 12th.

We'll be learning about the holiday through activities, crafts, planting and classroom seders.

REMINDER!
Please fill out the TBC Survey

Please fill it out as soon as your receive it so that your voice will be heard.

If you have not received it yet please contact Cindy Baulsir, or the Strategic Planning Lead, Dina Gumins. (Make sure first to double check your Gmail Promotions tab or spam folder.)

Each and every question within the survey is important and addresses different aspects of TBC

After 40 years we continue to evolve as a congregation. We're at a place where we want to think differently/creatively about the future while ensuring the needs of our congregation continue to be met. To that end, we've embarked on a consultant-led strategic planning process. A critical component of this process is to solicit feedback from the congregation.
Please participate to help make TBC the synagogue you would like it to be!

Shabbat Shirah February 10th - Calling All Musicians!

Come offer musical praise as did our ancestors in worship after the miraculous parting of the sea. If you are a singer or musician and would like to perform a song of thanksgiving or praise - alone or with a group - please email cantor@templebnaichaim.org

The exact musical shape of the evening will be a reflection of the musical talents and passions of our congregants. We will also hear the special musical chant for the Song at the Sea.

Join us for what promises to be a very special Shabbat of song and celebration.

The Gift of Coping Skills: Helping to Build Your Child's Resiliency (and Restore Your Sanity)

We all know our children need coping skills when they don't get what they want. This includes anything from not making a team, not getting a good grade, not being invited to a party, not getting to go to a friend's house, to having to deal with limits on their screen time and technology usage.

This interactive presentation will use your real-life everyday situations in which coping is NEEDED.

You will leave with practical suggestions, skills and possibly a new perspective.
