Scholars-in-Residence Weekend: Visions of Renewal
Friday to Sunday, November 3 to 5

Join members of the community in a set of weekend events led by visiting scholars-in-residence Rabbi Rachel Barenblat and Rabbi David Evan Markus. We will explore Jewish tradition and modernity, music and poetry, silence and dance, the beautiful and yearning poetry of Havdalah, why angels matter in Jewish culture and liturgy, how to multitask with spirituality, the mystical meanings of mitzvot, and 'renewal' tools to enrich your worship and re-envision Judaism in new and exciting ways. M ore information here !

For Students and Parents on Sunday, November 5, 10:30-11:15 am - Mitzvah and Mysticism. Mitzvot (the doings of Jewish life, like light shabbat candles and placing mezuzot on doorposts) embed deep mystical and spiritual meanings. We'll explore hidden uncommon meanings to common mitzvot and how combining mitzvah and mysticism can power up spiritual life.
