"We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done," Psalm 78:4.

Greetings!

Psalm 78:1-8 reminds us of the importance of remembering what God has done and sharing His praiseworthy deeds with the next generation. Like the Israelites, we can be quick to forget His faithfulness, especially when circumstances change or we face new challenges. Throughout Scripture, we see that God remains faithful even when His people are sinful, forgetful, or repeat the same mistakes.

The psalmist, Asaph, calls the Israelites to share what the Lord has done and what the He has commanded with the next generation so they will know Him, put their hope in Him, and keep His commandments. Remembering is not simply about looking back, but it's meant to shape how we live today and help us avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. Today, we also have the same responsibility to teach the next generation who God is and what He has done. Jesus is worthy of worship from every tribe and from every generation.

This is a priority not only for Four Corners Ministries, but specifically for the Child Development Program. The CDP at Abaana's Hope is designed to assist vulnerable children in realizing their full potential in Christ, in the home, and in the community. Through sponsorships, 75 children are provided a scholarship for their educational, spiritual, and physical needs. There are many activities within the CDP such as Sunday School, Bible clubs, sports, youth conferences, camps, workshops, tutoring, skills training, counseling, and more. These activities open an opportunity for our CDP staff to share the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.

Please continue to pray for the CDP, the children and families in the program, the CDP staff, and our missionaries serving through the CDP. If you feel led to give to support the CDP or another area of the ministry, please scroll to the bottom of this letter and click the "Support FCM" button. Thank you for supporting God's great redemptive work in Uganda!

Until all have heard,

Message from the CDP

“Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! My name is Opiyo Godffrey. My wife is Mary and she is a teacher at Living Stones Christian School. I have two boys, Elijah and Ethan. I serve as a child development program assistant and also a deacon in Living Stones Community Church. I’m so happy for what God is doing in this ministry through CDP because many children were hopeless in life, but through CDP, hope has been regained. The most wonderful part is that the gospel is being sent all over our country. My prayer request is that our CDP kids could know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ more than anything in this world."

Your brother in Christ,

 Godffrey (Ajula)
