Thank you for sacrificing for us!

Remember the reason for this season!

We appreciate you for all you do to enrich the lives of Paradise families!

Dream Team

We added Mr. Justin - our certified teacher, thanks to St. Paul's Episcopal Church! Lakeyvia is welcoming a baby boy and will be missed. Thank you cards for the gifts are at the center for those who provided gifts.

We are so grateful for Tommy - who provides music enrichment as a form of expression. Our angels improve reading and writing through music.

Enrichment Programs

Enrichment is directly linked to interests and passions! We have 15 online classes for children to learn theory and apply what they learn at our center and in life.

The kids have been enjoying crafts, 21st century technology, and improving writing skills through hip hop, and especially Fun Fridays. We want them to build confidence and knowledge to do their best in school and life.

Here's what else is happening (for those who love to read):

  • No children are unsupervised in any rooms, except for the restroom.
  • Hot meals, healthy snacks, and bottled water are provided daily.
  • Thank you Philadelphia United Methodist Church for the ongoing home repairs in Paradise!
  • Thank you Philadelphia United Methodist Church Youth for making the craft sets we used to make the Easter crafts.
  • The studio was set up and 3 demos were created by a sound engineer who provides high-quality enrichment. The children even made a jingle as a thank you to a donor.
  • Thank you to Mrs. Ellen for keeping snacks and water coming in regularly. These deliveries have made an impact especially in between fundraising and food drives.
  • We have 2 air conditioners that can be donated to others (be proactive). We have donated infant items, youth and adult clothing, a large rug, and dishes also available for families in need.
  • We need some volunteers to help organize daily - especially high school leaders!
  • The library books were organized and upkept by Mrs. Elkin and some of our angels.
  • Most volunteered person received a vacation courtesy of Gone Again Travel & Tours! Thank YOU!
  • Summer camp recruitment will start soon. We have dates! Technology Camp will begin June 6th and end July 1st. STEM Camp 2.0 will begin July 11th and end August 6th. We will need high school PLTW students to lead these camps PLEASE!
  • We are anticipating two 2-night camping sessions this summer - 1 in July and 1 in August. We will use all items supplied last year but will need sleeping bags, pillows, and consumables such as insect repellent, hygiene items, and a $100 per child sponsorship fee. Thank you all for making last year’s camping trip phenomenally life changing.
  • We have 30 seniors households who will receive Easter Love baskets from Church of the Redeemed by April 15th (date changed from the 14th)! They put their heart and soul into everything they do and we are grateful!
  • Thank you for those who send recurring monthly donations. We can because of YOU!
  • Please spread the word about us to your friends, community, communities of worship, and workplaces. Ask about matching donations or time off to volunteer at our center.
