Worship with us Sunday 8:15 & 10:45
This Sunday: Some Time on the Mountain Needed
The disciples needed some time on the mountain. Jesus needed some time on the mountain. And we, too, need some time on the mountain. This Sunday, Pastor Don will dive into what exactly that means, and what some time on the mountain will do for all of us.
REMINDER: Childcare is now available for children 6 weeks to 5 years during the 10:45 service.
A gift that will keep on giving ...
Two weeks ago we shared the story of a young mother who was graduating from Grace Place Ministry and moving into her first apartment with her son. HFUMC was able to help furnish her apartment, providing mattresses, a microwave and dryer, bedding, curtains, and other items. And her reaction (caught on camera below!) when she was surprised with her new home was priceless.
THIS is why we as Christians are called to give - of our time, our talents and our financial gifts. To help build God's kingdom - around the world and right here in Sumner County. Thank you for continuing to give so generously in the past year. Your gifts make a difference.

If you're interested in getting involved with our community and looking for a way to serve, Grace Place is just one of our Impact Partners and they have so many ways you can get involved: volunteering with the kids, coaching and mentoring the moms, assisting with moving the families to their new homes, or even working around the facility and grounds. Click here for a full list of ways you can get involved.

If you'd like to learn about our other Impact Partners and ways you can get involved, reach out to Jesse Fleck. She will help you get plugged in to the right place.
Spring Break Food Bins
Another great opportunity to love on our community is by picking up a Spring Break Food Bin! These bins will go home with Sumner County school students over spring break to help feed them and their families. Each bin will come with a list of food items to buy. If you'd like to grab a bin, they will be available after both services. All need to be returned by Sunday, Feb. 28.
Small Groups Start this Sunday!
Spring small groups are starting this week, and we've had our largest sign up to date! But there is still plenty of time to sign up and get involved in a small group. Spring offerings include:

  • a study on Ephesians with Pastor Don;
  • discipleship groups led by Pastor Joshua, Rick Morrison, Mike Fussell and Larry Wise, and Trey and Linda Sandefur; and
  • a Francis Chan video study led by Ted Brown.

End of Year Giving Statements
From Feb. 1 - April 30, you can quickly print a copy of your 2020 giving statement. Log in to Realm, click the "Giving" link on the left.
