Marc & Howard, Photograph by Phil Anderson
Hello to all of you!
I am honored to have this very special exhibit in the gallery.
"Inside Looking Out" will continue through November.
Here we are in August. This summer is well underway and I finally have this chance to remind you of what Icebox is all about. The opening was a wonderful show of love and support. Seeing Marc's expressions when he saw his work framed and on the wall was heart warming. Seeing Marc at his opening hugging friends and together tearing up over years of memories and sharred experiances left me and others speechless.
I have many people to thank for making this exhibit.
Starting with Mr. Marc Norberg, for his lifetime of creating amazing photography. Marc is my long time friend, client, and photography mentor to me.
The exhibit was made possible in part by Marc's loving sister Ingrid Norberg.
Nothing would have happened with out Marc's very special friends. They are dedicated and look after Marc's everyday needs, Rahn Westby and Joe Giannetti.
More thanks and appreciation to these other folks:
My good friend Greg Ochs for help framing and installing the exhibit.
Thanks to DR Martin for helping me to create the press release.
Thanks to Katherine Boyce for writing a heart warming artical for the North East Arts District and the Northeater news paper.
Thanks to local photographer and my friend Jeff Kraker, who after reading Katherine's artical brought in reporter Sammy Solina and photographer Mitchell Yehl from Kare 11 News. Together they carefully crafted a segment featuring Marc Norberg that was broadcasted durring Art-A-Whirl. That was not only informative of Marc's artwork and his condition but it connected to many people who have loved ones with dementia.
