Recently, the PGL team lost an integral part of our family with the passing of Robert (Bob) Mazalewski. After careers in nursery ownership and teaching horticulture at Cuyamaca College, Bob dedicated his final years working with his son Mark at Pacific Green. His depth of knowledge and support to his colleagues were unparalleled. Bob played a pivotal role in our chemical and safety programs and offered invaluable horticultural advice to our field team. His botanical expertise knew NO bounds, identifying every plant and tree asked of him. Always among the first to arrive in the early hours, he completed "Bob jobs" around the office and yard, tasks entrusted to him by his close friends in the office.
Beyond his unwavering support in the workplace, Bob was a friend to everyone in our community, be it employees, delivery drivers, or vendor partners. He effortlessly shared stories and laughter, fostering connections that left wonderful memories of him in our heavy hearts.
