I know I speak for CPC's Board of Directors when I say, Carol had complete faith in the importance of the CPC mission and her magnetic personality drew others to participate in that mission as staff, volunteers, board members and donors. Countless people sacrificed their time, talents and treasure because she asked us to. At least that's why I'm involved. We said yes not just because of the mission, which we already believed in, but because of who Carol was, because of the respect we had for her and because of the respect she had for us. She valued her relationships with others and put in the time and effort they required, from lunches to thank you notes to phone calls. She will be greatly missed by all who are part of the CPC family she built.
Dr. Cathy Gara, Secretary, Board of Directors, Former Volunteer Counsel
She was a towering figure. In her many years working at the Center for Pregnancy Concerns, Carol showed genuine love and compassion for pregnant women who were often scared and alone and had nowhere else to turn. She gave them more than material support. She showed them kindness and encouragement.
Most Reverend William E. Lori, Archbishop of Baltimore
What a wonderful woman of God. She touched so many in her life. Well done good and faithful one. Marilyn W.
