Saying Goodbye to a Pillar of Our Community
Trailblazer George O’Leary passed away peacefully, Monday, September 25th at the age of 92.
O’Leary immigrated from Nenagh, Ireland in 1957. He became a U.S. citizen and found his way to Tucson, AZ. in 1970. O'Leary developed the Rincon County Mobile Home Park thanks to his very own construction business. He went on to build more parks and won many awards for his efforts. He became nationally known for his service and support for both Arizona ARVC and National ARVC.
O'Leary made many generous donations to children’s hospitals around the country and made a large impact on those that he interacted with. He also made donations to Tucson Medical Center and several other organizations.
Everyone at CalOHA and the Parks around California send our support to his loved ones and the community in Arizona at this difficult time.
He will surely be missed.
