We are remembering our co-founder, Jack Ditcher, on June 11th. This is a special day, today would have been his 100th birthday. Jack was an amazing man, friend, mentor, and role model to our company and the industry we serve. We are forever grateful for the opportunities Jack created for us in each of our companies.
Jack co-founded Atlantic Concrete Products with his partner, Joseph J. Westhoff in 1969, followed by A-LOK Products Inc.in 1971, both of Tullytown, PA. Jack's commitment and dedication to the concrete products industry spanned more than 60 years. He was an active member of ASTM and NPCA for years. His studies and love of engineering earned him Professional Engineer status, and his desire to innovate led to more than twenty-five patents throughout his career.
Jack was a nice, pleasant, classy gentleman with an exemplary set of moral values that extended beyond his personal life, and into every aspect of his business life as well.
Jack was a great friend and profound leader of our company; he taught us many lessons in life. The one I will personally never forget is if you believe in something, never give up after the first try!
God bless Jack’s soul; we stand humbled and honored to continue his legacy.
Happy Birthday Jack!
