Thank you to everyone who has reached out with condolences and shared fond memories of our former President and CEO, Neal J. Johnson. Your kind words have meant so much to our athletes, coaches and staff as well as Neal's family and friends.

Neal was with our movement from its beginnings in New York as a volunteer coach and Board member. He later stepped in to lead our statewide organization at the request of the Board in 1997 and served in the role until 2017.

In the years since, Neal never left our athletes’ side. He continued to cheer them on from the sidelines at competitions big and small, on the beaches of Polar Plunges, and even virtually throughout the recent health pandemic.

Neal has always been, and will always be, our biggest fan. Donations may be made in Neal's memory here.
