Remembering Sisters Eileen Finnigan and Bernice Heinz
During the past month, both Sisters Eileen Finnigan, SNDdeN and Bernice (Madeline Marie) Heinz, SNDdeN have gone home to their good God.
Sister Eileen died on January 16, at age 77 after serving as a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 58 years. Her funeral services were held on January 21, and a video of the services is available, along with the text of the eulogy delivered by Sister Eileen's cousin. Sister Bernice died on December 23 at 93 years of age and 76 years as a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services have not yet been scheduled, but you may click here to read about Sister Bernice's life.
