We hope this email finds you well.

St. Padre Pio instructed his spiritual children, "Recite the Rosary and recite it always and as much as you can...In all the free time you have, once you have finished your duties of state, you should kneel down and pray the Rosary. Pray the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament or before a crucifix".

In our article this week, "  Remembering the Rosary - Rich in Graces", we discuss the concern that some people have stopped praying the Rosary in favour of the shorter prayer, The Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

We hope to remind people of the importance and holiness of the Rosary. It is only when you have experienced the power of the Rosary, will you be able to understand why saints like Padre Pio, Pope John Paul II and St. Francis de Sales so strongly recommended praying the Rosary every day.

Our attitude to the Rosary can determine its priority in our day.

But if we consider that it is one of the holiest prayers of the Catholic Church, recommended by Our Lady in Lourdes and Fatima, has fifteen promises attached to it, is highly recommended by every saint, especially Padre Pio, and is an immense source of graces for our life, then we should be wise enough to understand that this is a special and sacred prayer and that it must become an priority in our life.

We hope this article will help you in your devotion to the holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin and Mother of our Saviour.

May Divine Mercy be your joy in life, your hope in death and your glory in eternity.

Thank you & God Bless

Reflection from the Diary
"My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer "

"Remembering the Rosary - Rich in Graces"
by Val Conlon

Many people have, since taking up devotion to Divine Mercy, forgotten to appreciate the importance of the Rosary prayer, and fail to say it on any continuous basis. The Chaplet has become their Rosary. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is an intercessory prayer to bring God's mercy to mankind. The Rosary is Our Lady's gift to you, which should be used for the wellbeing of your daily life and your eternal salvation.

Saints Advice on the Rosary

"The Rosary is my favourite prayer" - "How beautiful is the family that recites the Rosary every evening!" - "The Rosary is a prayer both so humble and simple and a theologically rich in Biblical content. I beg you to pray it".
St. Pope John Paul II

"The Rosary is the most beautiful and the most rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God...and if you wish peace to reign in your homes, recite the family Rosary."
St. Pope Pius X

"The holy Rosary is a powerful weapon. Use it with confidence and you'll be amazed at the results".
St. Josemaria Escriva

"Go to the Madonna. Love her! Always say the Rosary. Say it well. Say it as often as you can! Be souls of prayer. Never tire of praying, it is what is essential. Prayer shakes the Heart of God, it obtains necessary graces!"
St. Padre Pio

"Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother".
St. Padre Pio

Fifteen Promises of the Blessed Virgin to Christians who Faithfully Pray the Rosary

1. To all those who shall pray my Rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and great graces.
2. Those who shall persevere in the recitation of my Rosary will receive some special grace.
3. The Rosary will be a very powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, deliver from sin and dispel heresy.
4. The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. Those who trust themselves to me through the Rosary will not perish.
6. Whoever recites my Rosary devoutly reflecting on the mysteries, shall never be overwhelmed by misfortune. He will not experience the anger of God nor will he perish by an unprovided death. The sinner will be converted; the just will persevere in grace and merit eternal life.
7. Those truly devoted to my Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite my Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces and will share in the merits of the blessed.
9. I will deliver promptly from purgatory souls devoted to my Rosary.
10. True children of my Rosary will enjoy great glory in heaven.
11. What you shall ask through my Rosary you shall obtain.
12. To those who propagate my Rosary I promise aid in all their necessities.
13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.
14. Those who recite my Rosary faithfully are my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion to my Rosary is a special sign of predestination.
