Relocation of Staff Entrance to Moffitt-Long Hospitals | |
Sheila Antrum, Senior Vice President and COO
As we move ahead with construction of the new hospital at UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center, i want to alert you to a change in how you will enter Moffitt-Long Hospitals. Effective February 27,2023 the staff entrance will relocate to 513 Parnassus Ave, Medical Sciences Building (MSB). Use the MSB elevators or stairs to reach your floor of the hospitals, rather than the corridor through the hospital lobby. Our hospitals have returned to visitation level 1, which means increased visitors in the lobby. We anticipate this change will be in effect for the remainder of 2023. The new hospital is critical to our ability to serve more patients, and i appreciate your patience throughout the process. Construction activities will continue for several years, and our team is doing everything possible to mitigate disruptions to your and our current patients and families.
