NJHSA Agencies Invited to Support College Students Impacted by COVID-19
Our colleagues at Hillel International have reached out to NJHSA to find ways to work together during this period of incredible disruption.

To address the needs of college and university students who now find themselves at home, instead of on their campuses, Hillel has established a Hillel@Home site; an online forum, updated in real time, to provide students with opportunities to connect with their local Jewish communities and to receive support services from the Jewish community as well.

Some initial suggestions for a partnership with NJHSA member agencies include:
  1. Listing your agency as a referral source on Hillel@Home for virtual volunteering for Hillel students (i.e. making calls to Holocaust Survivors, meal drop offs where possible and appropriate, etc.), and
  2. Listing your agency a source to offer support to students for students seeking personal support (vocational services/resume support, mental health counseling)
If you would like your agency to be listed on Hillel@Home, please complete the attached form and return by March 20th

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Reuben Rotman at NJHSA.
