WYOMING #235
ELK, MULE DEER, ANTELOPE & MORE
|
|
This long time northeastern Wyoming outfitter has been producing some superb trophies for our clients for many years. He takes a small number of hunters each year to preserve the high quality of his animals, and his guides are also truly excellent.
ELK
In recent years the elk herd has exploded, and with the area being 90% private ranches, they have gone relatively unmolested. The result is unpressured elk with good age structure, plenty of feed and relatively hunter-friendly terrain for stalking and glassing. These bulls have age, food, good genetics, and no pressure! His hunters have taken many 300+” bulls.
What’s really exciting is that the season is a full 2 months long, starting September 1, and you can RIFLE HUNT DURING THE BUGLE! The outfitter does not allow a bow season beforehand, so these are totally unpressured bulls.
On top of that, this is a General Tag area, which means you can draw with just 2 preference points (you can buy an elk preference point until October 31 for just $50). This outfitter only takes 6-7 elk hunters per year, so book now to reserve your hunt for 2022.
They also offer high-success cow elk hunts September 1-November 30. They hunt Area 129, which is usually 100% draw, but you must apply by January 31. These hunts are a lot of fun, and a great way to put some delicious and nutritious elk meat in the freezer for your family to enjoy.
MULE DEER
They also have some outstanding mule deer! We conservatively suggest 165”-180” is the norm, with high success and a chance at even bigger. And you can normally draw this tag with ZERO POINTS! These hunts are typically spoken for in advance, so book now for 2022.
ANTELOPE
The antelope are under-hunted. You can hunt with either gun or bow. Size ranges from 13-15 inches, with some opportunities at trophies up to 16 inches. The season runs from the beginning of September to the end of October. Hunts are in Area 17, which is usually 100% draw but you must apply by May 31.

IDAHO #103
FALL BLACK BEAR- SPECIAL
|
|
This excellent outfitter has been in business for 40 years and has been featured many times on numerous big name TV hunting shows. We have worked with them for many years, and we have personally hunted with them several times. These guys have been hunting bears over baits since 1979, so they know how to produce trophies for their clients.
They offer a very unique fall hound/spot & stalk combo hunt along the Salmon River in northern Idaho (at the base of the Panhandle), on about 40,000 acres of private land plus about 100 square miles of Nation Forest. During the month of September the area holds thousands of wild plum trees which fill every canyon on the ranches with some of the tastiest wild fruit around. Bears come from the surroundings mountains down to the ranch in order to fatten up for the winter.
You will head out in the early morning and try to catch a bear with the hounds. This is very exciting and quite successful with the heavy bear population. This hunt can be done by using any weapon you choose. Then in the evenings you’ll sit out on the hillsides and glass for bears walking the plum thickets. The hillside hunts usually produce shots in the 200-300 yard range, so it’s strictly a rifle hunt.
This hunt is about 95% opportunity and about 90% success, with dark chocolate brown, cinnamon, blonde, and red color phase bears running about 60%. Average bears are from 5’10” to 6’6”, with some going 7 foot and larger. The bears also tend to be fatter this time of year, pushing them up into the 300-350 pound range, with some getting up to 400+ pounds.
License (approx. $165) and Bear Tag (approx. $185) are extra. Please add 6% Idaho State Sales Tax to all fees. The tags are over-the-counter and are guaranteed, so NO DRAWS. Hunts are 5 days and include all in-field transportation, lodging, meals, and field care of your trophy.
Sept. 16-20 or Sept. 22-26 $3,500 with 2x1 guiding

KYRGYZSTAN #80
MID-ASIAN IBEX & MARCO POLO BY HORSEBACK
|
|
We have fall 2021 openings for mid-Asian ibex and Marco Polo (Hume Argali) with an outstanding outfitting partner in Kyrgyzstan. This outfitter has maintained a perfect 100% success rate on ibex hunts since acquiring an exclusive concession in 2014 of more than 330,000 acres in size. Trophy quality is as good as you can find in this country with a 45-46” mean average and trophies up to 53” taken on past hunts. Most years will produce 50” and larger ibex. This is a physically demanding horseback hunt with two guides per hunter. Expect to spike out and hunt at altitudes from 10,000 to more than 13,000 feet. Five full hunting days are included with most hunters needing no more than three.
|
|
Sheep hunts for Hume Argali are conducted south of Naryn and have a similar 100% success rate on trophies from 46” to 52” with the largest measuring over 54”. The terrain the sheep hunting is conducted in lower in altitude and is generally not as rugged as an ibex hunt and therefore most anyone who can ride a horse and make short stalks by foot can be successful. Anyone who want to hunt the 2021 season for Kyrgyz marco polo must apply by May 15th for a USFW import CITES!
Pricing for mid-Asian ibex is $5,000 plus a $2,500 trophy fee for any-size trophy. If you do not shoot an ibex this trophy fee is not payable! Pricing for Hume Argali is $18,000 plus a $12,000 trophy fee for any-sized ram. Again, if you do not shoot a ram this trophy fee is not payable.
A second ibex may be taken for $3,900 as well as wolf for $2,500. Observers are welcome for $3,000.
Available dates for 2021:
September 12 – September 22nd
September 21 – October 3rd

ALASKA #275
5-STAR ALL INCLUSIVE LODGE- WORLD CLASS FISHING
|
|
This outfitter has two different fishing lodges. Fishing is equal at both lodges, but prices differ. Pricing varies with the amount of luxury of course. The original lodge is extremely clean and well kept. You can have your own room, or you can get a cabin. They provide a breakfast and a sack lunch, and you cook your own dinner in the cabin or on a bar-b-cue. This lodge is located on the Kenai Peninsula.
The second lodge is the luxury lodge. It combines the same top-quality fishing trips but adds in all the amenities of a five-star property and all-inclusive top notch meals. It’s been a well-kept secret for the past 20 years. Both lodges are centrally located on the Kenai Peninsula among the great river fisheries of the area as well as the Cook Inlet.
|
|
Both lodges have freshwater guides and saltwater skippers who can choose from over a dozen different salmon runs and resident fisheries during the course of the season. What this means for you is an opportunity to fish for salmon, halibut and trout from late May through September. The Kenai river trips are conducted just to the north of the lodges and the Kasilof river trips to the south. In addition, the lodges also offer fly-in trips in creeks over on the other side of the Inlet. So you can choose to fish salt water or fresh water; ocean, streams or lakes and ponds.
The luxury Lodge is unique: it’s one of the few all-inclusive lodges right on the Bluff of Cook Inlet in Kenai, Alaska. They offer all-inclusive luxury vacation packages that include all of your meals, appetizers, wine & drinks. Their impressive menu includes salmon, halibut, king crab, prime rib, and more.
This high end Lodge has seven bedroom and 8 bathrooms in the main lodge, three of which are suites with their own bathrooms. That brings their capacity to between 14 and 17 people at any given time. Regardless of which lodge you choose, Summertime is one of the best season to visit --- because they will be catching fish throughout the months of June, July, and August. This is a great place to sit back and relax after a full day of fishing. To top it all off are the beautiful view of the Mount Redoubt Volcano on the bluff of the ocean where the lodge is located!

ALASKA #51
BROWN BEAR, MOUNTAIN GOAT & SITKA DEER
|
|
This Alaskan Master Guide has been working with Hunt Nation for close to 15 years and continues to offer some of the best pricing and success rates on Kodiak Island. Brown bear and mountain goat hunts require a draw permit that must be applied for from November 1st through the 17th of December 2021 for a spring or fall 2022 hunt. Alaska’s application system is a random draw. For that reason, draw odds fluctuate annually however many clients draw their tag for either specie the first year they apply. If you are unsuccessful in the draw you can roll your deposit over to the following year or elect to receive a refund.
|
|
Brown bear hunts are offered with a choice of accommodations. You can choose the comforts of the main lodge located on the shores of Ugak Bay or may choose to spike out with your guide at a lower price point. Kodiak brown bear average 9’ in size with a range of 8.5’ to more than 10’ squared. Success rates are close to 90% with opportunity rates a bit higher. Spring hunts in April and May are often preferred for the more favorable weather and better glassing conditions with less foliage hiding game. On the other hand, fall hunts offer better hair quality, better drawing odds (most years), the ability to hunt over salmon in select spots and the ability to combine your hunt with Sitka deer.
Mountain goat tags on this portion of Kodiak Island are issued in February of each year by random draw with draw odds averaging 50% most years. Those willing to stick with the application process are rewarded with one of the lowest priced goat hunts you can find anywhere in North America. These goat hunts are booked from October 1-24 when hair quality is excellent. Opportunity rates for those who are physically prepared are close to 100% with horns averaging in the 9” range. Although a physically demanding hunt, goat hunting on Kodiak island rarely surpass 3,000 feet. Seven full hunting days are included with most hunters connecting on a mature billy within the first few days (weather permitting).
Sitka deer are a relatively inexpensive option to hunt Kodiak Island and arguably are one of North America’s best eating game species. These small deer, originally introduced from the Alaskan mainland, thrive in favorable weather years and can be hunted from August through late November with over-the-counter tags. A seven-day combination package including one Sitka buck plus sea ducks and fox hunting can be booked during the month of November.
Pricing: Brown Bear $16,000 (tent camp) or $19,000 (lodge)
April 20-29, May 1-10 (TBD)
October 25-November 3
Mountain Goat: $8,000
October 1-24
Sitka Deer add-on to fall hunt: $2,000
Sitka Deer/sea ducks/fox combination: $4,000 2x1 or $5,000 1x1
November 4-11, November 11-18

MONGOLIA #36
IBEX AND ARGALI- LIMITED OPENINGS!
|
|
Hunt Nation works with several great partners in Mongolia and for the fall 2021 season tags are nearly sold out.
We have only one (1) Altai ibex tag, one (1) Altai argali and two (2) Gobi argali tags remain available. Anyone from the United States who intends to hunt one of the world’s largest wild sheep this 2021 season must contact our office as soon as possible to apply for the USFW CITES import license before May 15th!
If you miss the application period it may be possible to obtain an import permit first-come, first-served bases if the number of permits exceeds the number of applicants for the given year.
Getting to Mongolia is easy with direct flights to Seoul, South Korea followed by a connection onto Ulaanbaatar. From there the outfitter will arrange a domestic flight to Hovd in the far northwest of the country. Once in Hovd a two to six-hour drive is needed to reach the Altai-area camps. Clients hunting the Gobi region should expect a day-long drive from the capital city.
The nomadic lifestyle remains prevalent today as portable Gers (like yurts) are still widely used throughout the country. Four-wheel drive vehicles get clients from the cities to the camps. From there horses usually take over for transport during each day’s hunt. Altitudes vary by area but seldom exceed 11,000 feet. The terrain is rough but generally not as extreme as other Asian countries.
Opportunity rates on mature trophies is close to 100% on all species and for many the cultural experience of touring Mongolia is just as rewarding as the hunt itself!
Pricing 2021 and 2022:
Altai argali $106,000 (Uvs area) or $120,000 - $125,000 (special 60” + Khovd area)
Altai ibex $11,500
Hangai Argali $82,500
Gobi Argali $68,000
Gobi Ibex $11,400
Maral Stag $12,500
Season Dates: Flexible scheduling from 15 July through 15 October

Pricing is $1,700 per person. Please note that food and lodging is not included however services are offered only eight miles up the road.

TIME NOW TO BOOK TROPHY BILLFISH ADVENTURE!
|
|
We at Hunt Nation love trying to discover new and largely untapped locations for sportsmen and sportswomen. And sometimes we can find some incredible bargains at the same time!! This is one of those rare chances --- an opportunity to experience superb close to shore blue water fishing- and do it in style but very economically to boot. We know this location will prove to be a great opportunity for our many clients to experience.
|
|
You are picked up at Ixtapa Zihuatanejo airport and driven directly to the lodge located on the ocean coastline a little over an hour away. You are in a remote location- no night life here, but relaxing while watching the sunset over a gorgeous beach, with drinks and friends and nursing sore muscle from wrestling big fish is enough. Remote--- meaning serious sport fishing vessels are hard pressed to travel far enough to reach these fishing grounds. It’s one of the reasons why Sport Fishing Magazine ranked this as the second-best area in the world for sailfishing. When you realize the vast areas available world-wide for catching sailfish- calling this place #2 in the world is astonishing! Because the deep blue water is so close to shore, using the 22-24’ local pangas to fish from is comfortable and very affordable!
Our own Hunt-Nation consultant Eddie Deuser took a group to check out this adventure last year and they landed 15 sailfish in three days. Everyone that went thought this place was a paradise. The homemade authentic Mexican cuisine was unbelievable! Other species found in these waters include: Black marlin, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Jacks, Roosters, Snook and more!
RATES AND PACKAGES: (can be customized to fit your group) Includes: Guided Fishing; round trip airport transfers; all meals and drinks (excluding alcohol)
4 Nights, 5 Days: $1,195 USD pp- 3 Fishing Days
5 Nights, 6 Days: $1,395 USD pp- 4 Fishing Days
6 Nights, 7 Days: $1,595 USD pp- 5 Fishing Days
