ALL SAINTS DAY MASSES

Saturday, November 1, 2025

Masses
 12 Noon (Rectory chapel)

3pm - Healing Mass (Lower Church)

Why do we celebrate All Saints' Day?

All Saints’ Day (November 1st) is a joyful celebration in the Catholic Church honoring all who are in Heaven — not only famous saints like St. Anthony and St.Thérèse, but countless others known only to God.

This feast reminds us that holiness is not reserved for a few. Every baptized person is called to become a saint—loving God above all and witnessing to Christ in daily life. The saints show that this can be lived in every time and place: in families and workplaces, in youth and old age, in ordinary moments transformed by grace.

We also celebrate the Communion of Saints—our real spiritual bond with the Church in Heaven and those on the way to Heaven. We never journey alone. The saints pray for us, strengthen us, and walk with us.

At its heart, All Saints’ Day is a day of hope: Heaven is real, God’s grace can transform ordinary people, and we too are meant for sainthood. The saints are our brothers and sisters — and they are praying for us now.

It happens that this year, our Healing Mass falls on All Saints Day. ( The other Mass on this day is at 12 Noon).

During our 3pm Healing Mass, we will especially turn to all the saints in Heaven, especially our own patron saints who now live in the fullness of God presence—asking their intercession for every person in our lives (including ourselves) in need of God's healing, peace, and renewed hope.

May the prayers of our beloved saints draw us closer to Christ, our Divine Healer, and may He grant comfort and healing to all at the Healing Mass.

Next Saturday, November 1st- our Monthly Healing Mass.

All Souls’ Day, celebrated on November 2, is a solemnd ay in the Catholic Church dedicated to praying for all who have died and are still on the journey toward the fullness of Heaven. It acknowledges that God’s love continues to work beyond death—preparing souls for eternal life in His presence.

The day is rooted in the belief in the Communion of Saints: the living and the dead remain united in Christ, and our prayers can help those who are being purified.

Catholics visit cemeteries, offer Mass intentions, and remember loved ones by name, trusting that God’s mercy is stronger than sin and death.

All Souls’ Day invites us to hope, to remember with love, and to entrust every soul to God’s unfailing care.

Our Nine Novena Masses for our Beloved Departed will begin on that Sunday, Nov 2, thru Friday, Nov 10.

Please pick up All Souls offering envelopes in the entrances of our Church, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel and the Rectory Chapel. Inside the envelopes are cards where you can write the names of your departed loved ones.

These All Souls Day offering envelopes will be put on the altar at every Mass in our Church or chapel for the whole month of November.

We will be praying a Novena for the Poor Souls in Purgatory, especially for members of our own families in purgatory . This will begin at the same time as our Nine Day Novena of Masses on Nov 2-10. Here are the novena prayers for the Poor Souls in Purgatory.
