Now for the details...

Tomorrow Saturday, November 1st: All Saints Day

ALL SAINTS DAY MASSES

12 Noon (Rectory chapel
3pm - Healing Mass (Lower Church)

Why do we celebrate All Saints’ Day?

On All Saints’ Day, the Church honors all who live in the glory of God — both the saints known to us and the many holy souls known only to the Lord. Their witness teaches us that every baptized person is called to holiness, and that God’s grace can shape ordinary life into a path toward Heaven.

We also remember that in Christ, we remain united with those who have gone before us. The saints pray for us, strengthen us by their intercession, and accompany us as we seek to follow the Lord.

This year, All Saints’ Day coincides with our Healing Mass- see below.

(A Mass will also be offered at 12:00 noon.)

At our 3:00pm Healing Mass, we will call upon the saints, especially our patron saints, asking for their intercession for all who seek healing and consolation in the Lord.

Through the communion of the saints and their prayers for us, may we welcome God’s grace and be renewed in faith and hope. Amen.

Tomorrow Saturday, November 1st- our Monthly Healing Mass.

This Sunday, November 2nd: All Souls' Day

The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day)

Sunday, November 2nd

This is a special time when the Church prays for all who have died and are being prepared by God for the fullness of Heaven. We believe that God’s mercy continues beyond death, and that our prayers can assist those who are being purified by His love.

This day expresses our faith in the Communion of Saints. Our bond with those who have gone before us does not end; in Christ, we remain united. Praying for the departed is an act of charity and trust in God's mercy.

On this Sunday, we remember all our faithful departed , each of them by name, and we will commend and entrust them to the Lord who is faithful and merciful.

Our Nine Novena Masses for our Beloved Departed will begin on this Sunday, Nov 2, thru Friday, Nov 10.

Please pick up All Souls offering envelopes (see above) in the entrances of our Church, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel and the Rectory Chapel. Inside the envelopes are cards where you can write the names of your departed loved ones.

These All Souls Day offering envelopes will be put on the altar at every Mass in our Church or chapel for the whole month of November.

We will be praying a Novena for the Poor Souls in Purgatory, especially for members of our own families in purgatory . This will begin at the same time as our Nine Day Novena of Masses on Nov 2-10. Here are the novena prayers for the Poor Souls in Purgatory.

A Guidebook To Hearing God's Voice w/Jonna Schuster | E218 Lila Rose Show

Have you ever prayed, hoping to hear from God—and heard nothing? Maybe you’ve thought God only speaks rarely, and only through dramatic signs. Today, we’re clearing up those misconceptions with Jonna Schuster, Director of Catholic Revival Ministries and author of Hearing God's Voice: A Catholic Guide to Listening Prayer.

Jonna reminds us of what Scripture says: We are His sheep, and His sheep know His voice. God wants to speak to you—daily. And learning to hear Him is essential for your joy and spiritual growth.

She’s sharing a simple, powerful playbook:

– How to recognize a potential message from God

– How to discern if it’s truly from Him

– And how to respond in a way that bears real fruit and keeps the conversation going

You might be surprised—hearing God’s voice may be more ordinary than you think.
