Last month, PPOA sent an email to members in Unit 612 (sergeants/lieutenants) to announce a new partnership between the Unit 612 Training Committee and Echelon Front, a widely-respected leadership development company.
PPOA, in collaboration with Echelon Front, will host 12 webinars throughout 2025 to discuss challenges in leadership for our organization. These webinars will be specifically tailored for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Bureau of Investigation.
All active sergeants and lieutenants in Unit 612 will also receive a copy of Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win and the corresponding workbook by Jocko Willink and Leif Bain. Both are retired U.S. Navy SEAL officers, co-authors of the #1 New York Times bestseller Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win, hosts of the top-rated Jocko Podcast, and co-founders of Echelon Front.
