Reminder: CAEP Allocation Amendment Coming Soon
|
|
As part of the new budget agreement, CAEP could see an 11% allocation increase for 2020-21. If the Governor’s signed budget includes an allocation increase, all CAEP consortia and members will need to complete and approve an allocation amendment, independent of the May Revise allocation amendment. All CAEP consortia will be notified to complete an allocation amendment once NOVA has been updated.
If you have any questions or need assistance completing this process, contact CAEP TAP at
tap@caladulted.org
or (888) 827-2324.

Census 2020: College and Career Advisors Continue to Support Students Online
|
|
Napa Valley Career and College Advisors didn’t let COVID-19 stop their support of adult learners responding to the 2020 Census! The advisors visited ESL classrooms, via Zoom, to encourage students to complete the 2020 Census. COVID-19 disrupted the Napa Valley Complete Count Committee’s in-person outreach plans. However, the committee seized the opportunity to still deliver their Spanish presentation to not only encourage participation in the Census, but to also help minimize any fears students had that would prevent them from participating.

July 21, 2020
1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. PST
The first
Data Diving During COVID-19 webinar was well-attended and posed some great questions as agencies prepare their end-of-year CAEP student data. Join Jay Wright for Part II of this webinar. Despite schools and colleges being closed due to COVID-19, the end of year deadline of August 1st for all CAEP agencies still looms. In this workshop, we will look at the CAEP Data Integrity Report (DIR), review many of the data dive principles we have presented over the past couple of years, and provide some "typical" TE data examples.... and also look at reporting areas that may need a different view given that we are in the COVID-19 era.
