Reminder: COVID-19 CDL, CLP Waiver Extended
For Interstate and Intrastate Drivers
Waiver extended for CDLs, CLPs, endorsements, med cert requirements
Members,
The California DMV extended the waiver for
expiring CDLs, CLPs, endorsements and medical certificates for intrastate drivers
. The waiver, which was set to expire today, has been extended until
September 30
to match the extension for interstate drivers issued by FMCSA earlier this month.
The DMV has alerted law enforcement of the extensions. Carrying a paper copy of the extension notice in your cab is optional. If you would like one sent to you, you may request a mailed copy by
filling out the request form
in the
DMV Virtual Field Office
.
You may also call the DMV Call Center at 1-800-777-0133 to request a paper copy.
Again, this is optional as DMV has extended all driver licenses and alerted law enforcement of the extensions.
