Dr. Rachel Kennison will talk about the LS110 Career Exploration course at UCLA and show evidence that an intervention that includes a career development course can improve retention in STEM majors. The following paper will be presented: Belser, C.T., Prescod, D.J., Daire, A.P., Dagley, M.A. and Young, C.Y. (2017) Predicting Undergraduate Student Retention in STEM Majors Based on Career Development Factors. The Career Development Quarterly , 65: 88–93.
