It's no secret that the Tolberts are all about giving back to the community! Although they never seek anything in return, organizations show their gratitude in various heartfelt ways. Recently, Tolbert & Tolbert made donations to the Dunlap School of Karate and the ASW Foundation. Karate school founder Master Alex Dunlap, Jr. presented Atty. Michael E. Tolbert with the plaque pictured above. Aaliyah Stewart, founder of the ASW Foundation, sent a beautiful note thanking the Tolberts for their generosity!

PART-TIME LEGAL ASSISTANT

Tolbert & Tolbert is looking for a high-energy legal assistant on a part-time basis to support our Civil Litigation and Mediation practice. Candidates must be experienced (at least three years) and possess excellent legal secretarial skills (typing/keyboard, calendaring events, scheduling, pleadings, court e-filings, etc.) along with excellent grammar and spelling skills. We are looking for someone who possesses an ability to work individually and as a team member. Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.) is our choice software program along with Practice Management software. Many do not offer services in undeserved areas. In Northwest Indiana, just about 1% of registered law firms call Gary, Indiana home leaving a significant population without access to quality legal services.
