Corporal Detective Brian Murphy - For our next #EmployeesofHV spotlight, we are highlighting Corporal Detective Brian Murphy from the Criminal Investigations Unit. This specialized unit is essential for investigating crimes, collecting evidence, and identifying suspects, all of which are vital for maintaining public safety and ensuring justice.
Detective Murphy joined the Highland Village Police Department in 2020 and is dedicated to conducting thorough investigations and building strong relationships within the community. He finds it very rewarding to help people navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives until a final resolution is reached. Regardless of the size of the crime, Detective Murphy meticulously seeks the truth and ensures offenders are held accountable. Throughout his career, Brian has worked on over 1,000 cases and collaborates closely with local, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to support successful investigations and prosecutions.
