Resurfacing: Wells and Stockton

As part of the Chicago Department of Transportation's Arterial Street Resurfacing - Term North Area Project, there will be construction and associated street closures occurring in our Ward.

Wells Street from North Avenue to Lincoln Avenue Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on  September 4, 2015 and scheduled to be completed by October 10, 2015.

Stockton Drive from 2021 N. Stockton to 2600 N. Stockton:  Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on August 31, 2015 and scheduled to be completed by October 17, 2015.

At both locations, the work  will include ADA sidewalk improvements, curb and gutter replacement, and milling and paving of the existing asphalt pavement. On Stockton, bus pad construction will also be completed.

During construction, temporary "No Parking" signs will be periodically placed at each location, which will restrict parking during working hours. Please be mindful of parking restrictions at these locations to avoid being cited or towed.

We appreciate your patience as important infrastructure improvements are completed in our Ward.

Sincerely,
