Dear District 113 Parents/Guardians, Students, Staff, and Community,

Focus Group - One Parent/Community Session Remaining - Tuesday, November 14 at 7 p.m.

The Board of Education is now faced with the task of hiring a new superintendent. To assist the Board with this endeavor, the Board has hired Dr. Kevin O’Mara and Dr. Linda Yonke, consultants with SCHOOL EXEC CONNECT, a search firm that specializes in assisting Boards of Education in their search for a new superintendent. They have recommended that the Board audit the District’s strengths, challenges, and goals and determine the attributes a new superintendent should possess to be successful in our District.

Please assist the Board with this audit. As a District 113 parent, guardian or community member, you have important perspectives to share. Please join our consultants at one of the following focus group sessions. The sessions will last approximately 45 minutes. To ensure that there are enough materials, please RSVP using this form.

Survey - New Superintendent Profile 

District 113 is interested in receiving your input about the qualities important for the new superintendent to possess. We would appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill out an online survey that opens today and is available through November 13. Survey results will be incorporated into the Community Engagement Report and New Superintendent Profile that will be presented to the Board on November 28. Thank you for your assistance and support with this very important task.

Estimados padres/tutores, estudiantes, personal y comunidad del Distrito 113:

La Junta de Educación ahora enfrenta la tarea de contratar un nuevo superintendente. Para ayudar a la Junta con este esfuerzo, la Junta ha contratado al Dr. Kevin O'Mara y a la Dra. Linda Yonke, consultores de SCHOOL EXEC CONNECT, una firma de búsqueda que se especializa en ayudar a las Juntas de Educación en su búsqueda de un nuevo superintendente. Han recomendado que la Junta audite las fortalezas, los desafíos y las metas del Distrito y determine los atributos que debe poseer un nuevo superintendente para tener éxito en nuestro Distrito.

Por favor ayude a la Junta con esta auditoría. Como padre, tutor o miembro de la comunidad del Distrito 113, usted tiene perspectivas importantes que compartir. Únase a nuestros consultores en una de las siguientes sesiones de grupos focales. Las sesiones tendrán una duración aproximada de 45 minutos. El Distrito 113 está interesado en recibir sus comentarios sobre las cualidades importantes que debe poseer el nuevo superintendente.
