WE HAVE ALL YOUR BUCKET LIST ADVENTURES!

MISSOURI #303

DISCOUNTED COW ELK MEAT HUNT

We started working with this outfit last year and we really like what they have to offer. They are located in northwestern Missouri, about 90 miles from Kansas City International airport, so getting there is easy. We also like that it is a family-run operation that stresses quality over quantity. And we particularly like some of the unique hunting opportunities they offer. They also have a nice lodge with nice amenities.

They hunt a 1,000-acre preserve that offers elk, whitetail deer and trophy bison. Their bison are even available in rare black or white colorations. Right now they are offering a discount on full-grown cow elk meat hunts.

All hunts include 3 nights/2 days, with meals and lodging. Their lodge comes complete with a movie theater, 100-yard underground enclosed firing range, Wi-Fi, and a stocked fishing lake. They also have a skeet range and 5-stand platforms.

The regular price of $3,250 has been reduced to $3,000 per person. This is a great opportunity to put some delicious, healthy and nutritious organic meat in your freezer for the winter.

DATES:        Anytime between now and end of February (except Nov. 11-22)

IDAHO #103

DISCOUNTED HIGH-SUCCESS BIG MOUNTAIN LIONS

This is an excellent outfitter with whom we have personally hunted several times. He has been featured many times on various outdoors shows. He has excellent whitetails, mulies, elk and bears, but he has a real passion for BIG CATS. They have a good string of dogs, lots of experience, and the chief guide is very knowledgeable on hound behavior and cat areas. They hunt Units 12 and 18 in northern Idaho, along the Lochsa River.

You will go out early in the morning and cover as much country as possible by 4-wheeler, snowmobile, truck or even snowshoe to cut a mature lion track. Once this happens, they let the dogs go to work, and it's really amazing to see hounds in action.

Success is close to 90% over the years, but you need to be IN SHAPE, as there’s no telling where or how far away the cat will tree! If you do not have an opportunity at a lion, they’ll bring you back the following year at a discounted price. They take many cats in the 8-foot range each year.

The regular price of these 7-day hunts is $7,000, but it’s been discounted to $6,500 per person 1x1, including all lodging and meals. A 6% State tax and a 3% Forest Service Fee are extra. Licenses/tags will run approx. $400.

ALBERTA #343

ALBERTA SLAM! WHITETAIL, MULE DEER & MOOSE

Our Agent in Canada brought this outfitter on board, and we are very excited and believe it will soon become one of our most popular offerings. They operate on the largest Native reservation in Canada, and their whitetail and mule deer herds are extremely healthy.

These rifle hunts are mainly spot & stalk, with a lot of driving around and glassing. This makes it a very accessible hunt, even for older hunters. This method is also incredibly successful, and seeing over 100 deer a day, and at all times of the day, is THE NORM. Hunters normally see at least 1 shooter buck per day! Both opportunity and success are nearly 100% over this outfit’s many years of operation, on both whitetails and mule deer!

Whitetails generally run 140”-160”, with the average close to 150”. But they have taken many in the 160”-180” range, so hunters are encouraged to hold out for their personal best, or at least a 10-pointer with some character. Mule deer are not quite as numerous as the whitetails, but they have some dandy bucks. And they can be a bit easier to hunt than the whitetails, when the rut is on. Bucks will generally run 140”-170”, with the average 150+”. They have taken many bucks in the 170”-185+” range, but hunters need to be patient and be prepared to pass up many 140”-150” bucks!

In order to make these hunts even more attractive, the outfitter has just added a moose to the combo!

For just $9,500 USD per person, you can do a whitetail/mule deer/moose combo. And while these November hunts will be well after the moose rut, the outfitter is so confident that he will even refund you $1,000 if you don’t see a shooter moose (3 years old or better/35"-45") during the course of your hunt (which is the same price as a whitetail/mule deer combo, so you have nothing to lose!). But he’s only offering a couple of these 3-species combo hunts for 2023.

Their moose area (just north of their main deer area) is surrounded by National Park on 3 sides and a large ranch that doesn’t allow hunting. These are Shiras Moose according to SCI, and Canada Moose according to Boone & Crockett Club.

  • One-Deer Hunt (whitetail or mule deer) – $7,000 USD per person 2x1
  • Whitetail, Mule Deer Combo Hunt – $8,500 USD per person 2x1
  • whitetail, Mule Deer, Moose Combo- $9,500 USD per person

Add $1,500 USD per person for 1x1. Hunts are 6 full days, and all meals and lodging are included. Lodging is a nice motel in a nearby town, and dinners in small diners. You will need to fly into Calgary, AB or Great Fall, MT and rent a car.

2023 DATES:          November 13-18 (up to 4 spots)

November 20-25 (up to 4 spots; these are prime deer rut dates!)

WYOMING #232

PREMIUM TROPHY BULL ELK

Do you have close to max. elk preference points in Wyoming and have been waiting and looking for just the right hunt to use them? The search is over!

This massive ranch in central Wyoming is over 570,000 acres, making it the largest contiguous ranch in the Rocky Mountains (to our knowledge). It is home to thousands of elk, antelope and mule deer, some of which die of old age due to the sheer size of this place. They have some great trout fishing as well. Hunters are housed in a gorgeous 4-star lodge, with delicious meals served every night.

The terrain is “moderate” in terms of physicality and varies from open meadows in the timber to vast juniper flats to windswept ridgelines. The elevation is fairly high at 6,500-8,500 feet, but the outfitter can usually accommodate various physical abilities. Depending on the time of year, hunts can range from bugling in rutting herd bulls in the thick timber, to spotting and stalking elk on open ridgelines.

They have some truly huge elk on the ranch. They try not to harvest anything under 335” (but it does happen occasionally), and enjoy a 350” average some years. However, bulls up to 370+” live there! The hunting pressure is also low, due to the sheer size of the ranch and the number of points required to draw. They average about 10 hunters per year, but some years it’s been as few as just 3.

The 2024 price has not been set yet, but should be similar to the 2023 price of $12,000 per person 1x1 for a 5-day hunt, food and lodging included. That is a very fair price today for a hunt of this quality! If you have at least 16 elk preference points, give us a call. But don’t wait, as THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 31, 2024!

ARGENTINA #33

BIG GAME GRAND SLAM

Our client David W. was here in April, 2023 with a group and rated everything Excellent, he states, "good hunts, and successful on all species.

Excellent food and huge amounts of it. Once in a

lifetime hunt for me."

Argentina is a land blessed with a huge variety of hunting and fishing opportunities, including big red stags roaring in the hills, incredible wingshooting for doves, ducks, perdiz and pigeons, along with many other big game animals. It’s simply one of our favorite places to send clients because they always come back happy. World-class hunting, awesome hospitality, reasonable pricing and virtually 100% success…it just doesn’t get any better than that!

This outfitter has his own hunting ground in the Province of La Pampa, which is the very best stag area in Argentina. They hunt approximately 45,000 acres of century-old scrublands. These free-range stags will be mature animals, typically with very good mass and have 5x5 or 6x6 racks averaging approx. 300” SCI (estate hunts for stags up to 600” are also available – ask for pricing), and you can shoot the biggest one you see, with no trophy fees! We have sent many clients here, and Hunt Nation President Ed Manasse has also hunted here.

They are currently offering an outstanding big game combo consisting of 1 free range red stag, 1 water buffalo, 1 blackbuck, 1 four-horned ram and 1 wild boar, all for just $10,700 USD per person for a 7-day hunt. Includes 1x1 guiding, with all meals and 8 nights’ lodging in a five-star lodge. Licenses (approx. $400) and gun rental/import are extra, and all airfares.

ALASKA #140

BOAT-BASED SPRING OR FALL BLACK BEARS

This is a spot & stalk hunt which takes place by boat in the bays and inlets of southeast Alaska. In this maritime environment with the abundance of fish, bears can grow 19+” skulls in 6-7 years, while in many areas that black bears live they would require twice that to reach those sizes. Opportunity is normally 100% and success very close to that.

You will stay aboard a custom-built 31’ aluminum boat. It has comfortable bunks for two people, as well as a nice galley, an enclosed cabin, private head, and fishing gear. Meals are top notch! Hunting will be mainly from skiffs as you probe the beaches and tidal flats of coves and inlets, but fall hunts can also utilize quads to access some new logging areas that are thick with berries. These hunts are not very physically demanding and make a great hunt for parent/child.

This outfitter normally takes only 2 people at a time, but can accommodate a larger group using sleeping tents on land (or in a cabin, at extra cost). Prices is just $6,500 per person 2x1 for a 5-day hunt (1x1 also available for $2,500 extra), plus applicable taxes. Licenses/tags are guaranteed (no draw!), but the cost is not included. Clients are responsible for their own transportation to/from Ketchican.

ARGENTINA #33

OUTSTANDING HIGH-VOLUME DOVE HUNTING

Argentina is possibly THE premiere destination for world-class wingshooting for doves and pigeons. These birds number in the millions, and have become an agricultural plague. As a result, the hunting season is year round, and it is not uncommon to shoot 1,000 or more birds per day!

This outfitter is offering a special wingshooting package in the Tras la Sierra Valley in the Province of Cordoba, surrounded by high mountains where farmers grow sunflower, corn, peanuts, sorghum and others.

A “bird boy” is included, as is first class ground transfers from the airport. Accommodations are in a 5-star lodge with swimming pool, just 30 minutes from the hunting grounds. Golfing is also available nearby. International flights are available directly into Cordoba, or via Buenos Aires.

This NO LIMIT 3-day/4-night dove and pigeon hunt is just $2,500 USD per person, including meals & alcohol, lodging AND 1,000 20 GAUGE SHELLS PER PERSON! That is an incredible deal, as shells are approx. $15/box, so that alone would cost you $600! Licenses and gun rentals are approx. $400 per person.

KANSAS / NEBRASKA #255

BIG TOM TURKEYS

Hunt Nation’s Don Sangster has deer hunted with this fine outfitter on two occasions. He was very impressed overall with this operation’s properties, and saw a pile of turkeys while he was there, including some huge toms!

Kansas and Nebraska are strictly blind hunts (no run & gun allowed!) and shotguns only. Hunts are semi-guided, meaning you will be provided with a property to hunt, with a pre-set blind, decoys and bait.

This outfitter offers some tremendous spring turkey hunts in northwest Kansas, and baiting is allowed in Kansas, which can really help with young hunters, or when the weather is not great. These birds are mainly Rio Grande subspecies, but there are some Rio/Merriam’s hybrids as well. Tags are by draw, but it should be close to 100% draw. The limit is 1 bird.

The outfitter also offers hunts in southwest Nebraska. There the limit is 2 birds, but no baiting is allowed. The tags are OTC, and they do sell out, so don’t delay.

Kansas hunts: Price is $1,000 per person for a 2-day hunt, including lodging but not meals.

Nebraska hunts: Price is $1,550 per person for a 2.5-day hunt, including lodging but not meals.

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES #283

FLY-IN LAKE TROUT, GRAYLING

This full-service lodge is situated on a large lake set in the barren lands of the Arctic. This remote gem offers world class fishing for lake trout and Arctic grayling, and even a few pike. Lakers will average 15-25 lbs., but the lodge record is close to 60! Grayling will average 22”, but the record is 25”. Both species are caught in abundance using a variety of techniques and lures, including flyfishing. They practise catch & release, but they do keep a few “eater” trout for shore lunch.

You will need to fly into Yellowknife (not included in price) the day before, and board a 2-hour charter flight to the lodge the next day (included in price). There are normally daily flights into Yellowknife from Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa.

The price of a 5-day trip is $5,500 USD per person (2 guests per guide), or $9,900 USD per person for a 10-day trip. 5% tax, fishing license, commercial airfares, hotels and meals in Yellowknife inbound/outbound, travel/cancellation insurance and tips are not included. Due to fluctuating fuel costs, a fuel surcharge may be applicable.
