Monday, November 14 - District 12 Town Hall. Special topic is urban planning and the city bike plan (specific to our area). We took a multi-hour tour to see the opportunities and challenges of the proposed plan and changes have been made. We'll have a quick update from City Hall and answer your questions for the remaining time. 7-8 pm. Link will be sent to all enews subscribers.
Tuesday, November 15 - DART Cotton Belt/Silver Line meeting at Texas AgrilLife building. 7 pm. I believe several announcements will be made that will negatively impact the community.

Sunday, November 20th - District 12 Old City Park Day! Join me for a fun day at my favorite park. A collection of old buildings from around the city have been moved to one place and you can go inside them and learn how people used to live. The school house from Renner, which was located in District 12 is there along with many fascinating buildings, farm animals, and beautiful grounds. We'll have some treats for you there! Free parking and admission. 11-4 pm.
Saturday, December 10, Tree Planting at Timberglen Park, 9 am. Volunteers needed! See flyer below.
There are lots of fun events and informative meetings coming up and I hope you'll be able to participate in some of them.
See you soon, Cara
