Become PBS Media Literacy Certified!

Are you passionate about teaching kids how to think critically about their roles as media consumers and creators? Montana PBS is supporting teachers who wish to participate in an online collaborative learning experience to earn PBS Media Literacy Certification. Teachers who choose to participate in this program would earn OPI renewal units and a stipend for sharing feedback about the experience. Fill out this form to let us know if you are interested in joining this group!

Learn at Home, Too with MTPBS

Montana PBS continues its commitment to make resources available to every Pre-K through 12th grade student and teacher who needs educational resources for learning at home, whether it’s for a few days, or throughout the academic year. Enjoy award-winning children’s programming every weekday morning and afternoon for children ages 3-8, plus selected programs broadcast from 12noon to 2pm for kids ages 9 and older. The resources below are aligned to some of the programming scheduled for August. Use these resources to support students learning at home this fall. Back from the Brink: Montana's Wildlife Legacy

Many do not know that at the start of the 20th Century, Montana's wildlife was near its breaking point, having been exploited by fur-traders, miners, homesteaders, ranchers, and hunters since the start of the westward expansion.
