Dear Falcons, 

As a follow up to our message on September 23, our Mandatory COVID-19 Testing or Vaccination policy is effective on October 1, 2021 with full enforcement on October 31, 2021. We strongly encourage you to submit your proof of vaccination or COVID-19 testing results without delay.

The District adopted Board Policy 2905 (BP 2905) that requires all students and employees to show proof of vaccination or commit to mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing to return to campus for the fall 2021 semester. The policy will be effective on October 1, 2021.

Reminder:
  • If you are vaccinated, you are required to upload your proof of vaccination to Optimum HQ no later than October 31, 2021 in order to come to campus. Please view the student FAQs on how to upload your proof of vaccination,
  • If you are unvaccinated, visit the COVID-19 Testing Information page for mandatory testing information required to come to campus.

Please be advised, BP 2905 will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary actions. 

As COVID-19 cases continue to surge, these new safety measures are intended to reduce COVID-19 transmission on campus. Safety remains our top priority.
