This smart device enables you to track your water usage 24/7 and will notify you of possible leaks and excessive water use. Get instant alerts to prevent left-on faucets or unnoticed leaks and receive individual appliance water usage breakdown to learn how much water each appliance consumes.

Notes: Property owners who receive a device will need to agree to install it promptly and maintain the device for at least one year.

A plumber or modification to your water system is not required.

A Wi-Fi connection is required to allow the transfer of water-use data to the cloud. The data will be used in a study facilitated by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) to analyze indoor residential water-use trends. All water-use data will be anonymized and aggregated when analyzed for use in the DWR study (no personal information will be shared).

Once you receive your Flume device, you have 30 days to install the device, connect it to your home Wi-Fi, and register it on your smartphone device or desktop. The device simply fastens to your water meter (straps included).

Note: Shared residential meters (where one meter is used for multiple units/properties) are not eligible. Only meters that supply water to a single residential unit/property are eligible.
