Very important Message to the POWAB
General Body membership from
Tasha Moses, POWAB Community Co-Chair
Greetings! On behalf of the POWAB Co-Chairs I want to express our excitement for all of the great things coming from POWAB in the coming months. Summer has officially begun and with the summer comes our annual signature event, POWAB-DMV Faith in Action Community Day Health and Wellness Fair which is taking place on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. This signature event brings together partners from DC, Maryland and Virginia who collaborate to provide food, resources and services to the community. The Community Day event is always full of fun, faith and fellowship and we are looking for partners to help ensure this event is a success. We have a goal of reaching 500+ community members which can only happen through collaboration.
One of my favorite quotes states that “the best collaborations create something bigger than the sum of what each person can create on their own.” ~ Author Unknown.
We welcome your business, organization and/or faith community to join in this powerful event. If you are interested in becoming a partner or would like more information about how your business can benefit
through promotion in The Spirit newsletter.
