THANK YOU FOR BEING INVOLVED WITH RPAC/DIRECT GIVER
Whether they had election fatigue or not, REALTORS® again showed they were paying attention and were fully engaged in politics. 2020 was a record breaking year for RPAC/Direct Giver fundraising. Thank you to the many members who were involved in the fall elections and to those who contributed to RPAC and supported candidates of their choice through the Direct Giver Program. Click here to see the 2020 Direct Givers.

Our legislative success on the local, state and national level is because REALTORS continue to engage in elections.

If you are interested in supporting a candidate at the local, state or national level in the future, consider running that contribution through the Direct Giver Program. Click here for more information or contact Marne Stuck by email or call 414-778-4929.

'RE-ORIENT YOURSELF' : ARBITRATION PROCESS
Brush Up on Topics Covered at Orientation
Whether you are a brand new REALTOR® just starting out or have been in the business for years, it never hurts to check back in on the basics and make sure you are taking full advantage of your membership.
A key element in the practice of real estate is the contract. Experienced practitioners quickly become conversant with the elements of contract formation. Inquiry, invitation, offer, counter-offer, contingency, waiver, acceptance, rejection, execution, breach, rescission, reformation, and other words of art become integral parts of the broker's vocabulary.

Boards and Associations of REALTORS® provide arbitration to resolve contractual issues and questions that arise between members, between members and their clients and, in some cases, between parties to a transaction brought about through the efforts of REALTORS®. Disputes arising out of any of the above-referenced contractual relationships may be arbitrated and the rules and procedures of Boards and Associations of REALTORS® require that certain types of disputes must be arbitrated if either party so requests.

YOUTH FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
The Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS® Youth Foundation will award 7 $1,000 scholarships to children or grandchildren of GMAR members during 2021.

Members must have maintained their relationship with the GMAR continuously for at least three (3) years. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2021.
