I love March! It's Women's History Month, so I get to attend a host of celebrations that uplift women in my circle and beyond!
Last week, I witnessed my mentor, friend, client and BOSSLADY Karen Freeman-Wilson, President and CEO of the Chicago Urban League, receive the Vanguard Award from The Chicago Defender (pictured right). Three days later, she crushed it as the featured speaker of City Club Chicago! Her list of accolades and awards is endless, but it's her humility for me! It seems like everyday I've been somewhere cheering on my sisters, and it feels GREAT! From presenting at the Jack and Jill regional conference to facilitaiting a whole line-up of female clients on radio interviews, I just can't get enough of this GIRL POWER!
