We Need Your Input on a U.S.-Based CCL Registry!
Dear VOS Members,
I hope everyone is enjoying the last stretch of summer! Your VOS Board of Directors has been busy behind the scenes, and I’m excited to share a few important updates with you.
First, we’ve finished our search for a new meeting planner to replace NCSU. As a reminder, NCSU will continue to support VOS through the 2026 meeting, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication and contributions over the years.
After a thorough review of several excellent candidates, we are pleased to announce that Sarah McGee will be taking over meeting planning services following the 2026 conference. Sarah is a familiar face to many of you — she previously worked with NCSU and is now running her own meeting planning business. We’re excited to welcome her back to VOS in this new role. She will join us in Big Sky and is eager to reconnect with the VOS community.
The Board of Directors is confident that Sarah’s experience, professionalism, and enthusiasm will make her a fantastic partner as we continue to grow and enhance our annual meetings. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!
In the meantime, we need your input! As discussed in last month’s newsletter and webinar, we are conducting a pledge drive to determine member support for launching a U.S.-based Cranial Cruciate Ligament Surgery Registry. This project has enormous potential to impact our field, but we can’t do it without knowing whether our membership is behind it — both in principle and financially.
| | |
Please take 2 minutes to fill out the pledge form by August 15. Your feedback will guide whether we move forward with collecting donations and building the registry infrastructure.
Please take the pledge drive survey here.

Sincerely,
