Into Flight Once More
All three historic planes shown on the right were to over the San Luis Film Festival showing of Into Flight Once More and were also guests at the Estrella Warbirds Museum 4/27/20. Betsy had a last minute hiccup and couldn't make the flyover. The film follows the C-47's and DC-3's (including Betsy's Biscuit Bomber and crew) that flew to Normandy in 2019 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of D-Day landing during WWII. The DVD of the movie has not been released yet, but you can sign up to buy one at the video link above.
News From The Woodland Auto Display
Woodland Auto Display was guest host this past month to many of the great Legends of Kearney Bowl (LOKB) Speedway who came to view the special Kearney Bowl Speedway displays. A very special "Thank You" goes out to Jim Perry and Ed Barios for loaning us the two historic Pombo - Sargent cars currently on display. An extra big shout-out to the man behind the original LOKB group and long time Woodland Auto DIsplay supporter, Jim Perry. He has not only loaned us his historical race cars but numerous rare display items, trophies, etc.. Most recently, he was the key to making the Pombo - Sargent display become a reality. LOKB member, Phil Moradian presented Dick Woodland with a great tribute drawing of everybody's favorite, Hall of Fame member Kenny Takeuchi. (Thank you to Judie Moradian who, unfortunately, was unable to make the trip.).

Come on down and check out this incredible display at Woodland Auto Display!
