Please join me and your neighbors on **Tuesday, May 24th* at 7pm at Princeton Elementary  School (6100 Baxter Dr., Camp Springs, MD 20746) for our next monthly community advisory meeting. This is an opportunity for me and my staff to hear from you directly and share with you the latest information about the County Government's agenda.  This meeting will focus on how the county can work proactively to create JOBS for county residents and strengthen its overall economic development efforts.  Members of the Baker Administration Economic Team will be there to answer your questions.  Please RSVP below!

Council Members Present "Jobs First" Legislation for County Residents and Businesses


I am pleased to announce the presentation of the Prince George's County "Jobs First" Act of 2011 (the "Jobs First Act") before the Prince George's County Council, co-proposed by myself and Council Member Andrea Harrison (District 5).  The Jobs First Act will dramatically boost contracting and procurement opportunities for Prince George's County-based businesses, require local hiring for county residents, foster unprecedented economic opportunities for local small businesses, and require community benefits for tax-funded developments.

Please join me and your neighbors on Sunday, August 7th (rain date August 14th) at Cosca Regional park, 11000 Thrift Road, Clinton, MD 20735 for District 9 Community Day.   Please save the date and join us for fun, food, and valuable information.  Bring the children and enjoy the afternoon with us.


We are looking for volunteers so if you are interested in lending a helping hand please contact Brendon Laster at in my office.  I thank you in advance for wanting to be a part of our first District 9 Community Day!
