micro-precision VA drills 

These carbide micro-drills feature a specialized geometry for long-chipping and tough materials such as stainless and Ti/Ni alloys - from 0.5mm or 1mm in diameter. All but one series feature coolant through the drill.

A concave, radiused cutting edge delivers a stable drilling process with low cutting forces. The drill's improved flute profile and point geometry produce short, manageable chips.

Available in 3xD, 6xD,10xD and 15xD.

Tiny but mighty micro-Diver

The new micro-Diver carbide end mills from Guhring deliver 60 degree ramping and high-performance milling at tool diameters at or below 1/8". A new ultra-fine carbide grade optimally balances hardness and toughness.

With a focus on stability in the cut, the micro-Diver was designed with an innovative flute form and specialized geometry for the transition from flute to neck. A symmetrical drilling geometry helps to optimize ramping and drilling operations.

Micro-precision boring

Guhring's stick insert grooving, boring and chamfering tools are used for small diameter internal bore machining and face grooving operations, at diameters from 0.7mm. Carbide production and sintering within Guhring facilities ensures superior quality control.

The round shank holders can be used with both left- and right-hand inserts, and the unique alignment feature between holder and insert allows the insert to be rotated 180 degrees while precisely maintaining centerline and axial depth.

Carbide micro thread mills

For helical drill/thread milling into solid material the MTMH3-Z micro helical drill/thread mill is one tool that performs both core hole and thread production. MTMH3-Z is applicable in materials up to 66 HRC, and is available in diameters from 1.4 mm.

Guhring's offering of carbide micro thread mills was greatly expanded with the all-new 2021 Thread Milling catalog, with a full range of UNC, UNF, Metric and even BSPP thread mills.
