We honored the life and service of Ms. Margaret Harvey Beauchamp at WFHS by unveiling a plaque commemorating her work. Ms. Beauchamp served our students, school system and community as school cafeteria manager for over 20 years.

I had the opportunity to speak to Ms. Walker’s Anatomy and Physiology class and shared my personal experience with coronary artery disease. Afterwards, student dissect a deer heart to learn more about the anatomy of the heart.

We celebrated with our top AR reader at Bains Lower for the first semester, Evie Olinde, by giving her a signed WFHS football and a signed WFHS volleyball.

Our WFHS ProStart program created charcuterie boards for an event hosted by the West Feliciana Historical Society. Representatives from the West Feliciana Historical Society, Christian Tregle and Brandy Fournet, recognized the students and Ms. Delanea Buffalo for the great work and donated $1000 to the WFHS ProStart program.

LaMarco Webb and Reed Hayden make groups of 10 that equal 100 on the 100th day of school. 

Nathan Armstrong and Chandler Roach are having a conversation in their Head Start class!.

Jaleigh Boyance wrote her name in her Head Start class. 

Darriun Carpenter, Lindsey Graham, and Drew D’Aquilla work hard to solve math expressions in Mrs. Fudge and Mrs. Felder’s 5th grade class.

 Bains Lower students, Everly Pace, Collins Stone, Daniel Johnson, Burns Robinson and Brynn Fontenot, lead the Pledge of Allegiance and raise the American and Louisiana flags to start their day.
