2024 NYS Tourism Excellence Awards:

"Nominating honors hard work and serves as a source of inspiration for the industry!"

Being recognized for our accomplishments is like fuel to a fire. It’s time to recognize the New York State tourism industry’s amazing work through the NYSTIA Tourism Excellence Awards!

The Tourism Excellence Awards will be the highlight of the annual meeting in Saratoga in September 2024 and as a recent recipient of two awards, believe me, it is a great honor to be recognized by my peers in the tourism industry. Nominating your own organization or nominating someone for an individual award not only honors the hard work and creativity of individuals and organizations but also serves as a source of inspiration for everyone involved in the industry.

Nominating the outstanding contributions of peers or for your own organization is a fantastic way to foster a sense of community and support within the tourism sector. Winning an award indeed provides validation for the effort put into marketing destinations and undertaking projects, motivating teams to continue their excellent work and strive for even greater achievements.

Advance Media NY is proud to sponsor the Tourism Excellence Awards night. We will continue to showcase the winners in the sizzle reel that is played to kick off the ceremony and is also found on the NYSTIA website all year. The video not only acknowledges the winners but also helps promote the high standards and innovation present in the tourism industry of New York State. I wish all the nominees the best of luck and may the Tourism Excellence Awards continue to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions made by individuals and organizations, inspiring others to reach new heights in the world of tourism. Cheers to another successful year of celebrating excellence! Remember, the deadline for submissions is April 19.
