Dear Faithful Members of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida,
Your Standing Committee wanted to issue one last courtesy reminder that applications are being received to serve on the Nominating Committee in the search for the 9th Bishop of Florida. This Committee will listen to the voices across the Diocese, create a Diocesan Profile, recruit and interview applicants, and present a final slate of candidates for election in the spring of 2022.
Service on this Committee will require substantial time, energy, teamwork, and prayer; it promises to be very rewarding. We remind you that those applicants who are not selected to serve on the Nominating Committee may be selected to serve on the Transition Committee, which will be appointed in the fall.
Time for applications is running short. The Deadline for submission is tonight, Monday, April 19, 20201 at midnight.
