NewSolutions Password Policy Change
Reminder! This Policy Will Change on January 1st
Beginning January 1 st , 2020, Share One will no longer reset NewSolutions passwords for credit union users. A new NewSolutions user role was developed to allow password resets at the credit union level.

This change will strengthen security for both credit union clients and Share One. Because there is no sure method of verifying the identity of an individual requesting a NewSolutions password reset, the current practice places a risk on both the Share One and your credit union.

The first blue button below (NewSolutions Password Reset Role Guide) will link you to a document which will guide you through creating a new role designed to allow individuals at your credit union to reset passwords.

This new role can be applied to any NewSolutions user to grant permissions to make changes to the Users section of Enterprise. This will enable more credit union users to reset passwords without Share One's intervention and without granting full Enterprise access.

The second blue button will link you to the recorded webinar.
Review the guide and the recorded webinar available on the Portal: NewSolutions Security - Creating a Password Reset Role.

The guide and recorded video* explain setting up a role in NewSolutions which allow assigned users to perform password resets in the core. The video reviews common roadblocks and processes for auditing users.
