Armory Studios NY and MOPCO present The Castle of Terror, an indoor, rain-or-shine Halloween fright spectacular tangled through the Armory’s gruesome underground spaces, Friday, Oct. 6–Tuesday, Oct. 31. Darkest fears will be extracted in a mad scientist’s laboratory. Patrons will wander through bat-and-spider filled chambers; a “meat” maze; and an abandoned hospital’s gory operating room!

On October 21st 1835 six hundred abolitionists met in Utica NY to form a state antislavery society. Twice the six hundred delegates were confronted by an angry mob and thrown out of the Bleeker Street Church. Gerrit Smith invited the delegates to meet the next day in the safety of Peterboro NY.
