How does your mind differ from your spirit? Many people think the mind is the spirit but that is not true. A fallen man has a mind but that mind has nothing to do with spirit world. Suppose your body did not have bones. Can you imagine a human form without bones? It would be a most miserable entity, actually having no form. This illustrates the contrast between the fallen mind and the spirit. The fallen mind has no connection with the spirit world, being like a body without bones.

In addition to the physical mind there is the distinct existence of soul or spirit mind. Furthermore, each person has a distinct spirit body… it is the substantial reality of existence in which the spirit mind dwells. However, the mind of fallen man has nothing to do with God. God is dealing only with the spirit mind.

Hyung Jin Nim started the service with a contemplative prayer focused on Proverbs 14. He is a fan of Wes Huff, a biblical scholar. It takes 10 years to learn the languages needed to have a strong foundation to understand the original text of the Bible.

He praised the new video by Shin Joon Nim (SJ) on The Advent channel on “10 more reasons Jesus did not come to die.”  The Principle accepts that the crucifixion took place, but states that was not the primary purpose for his coming, and why he has to return to build the Kingdom. Hyung Jin Nim explained that he explored Buddhism before embracing True Father’s teaching and person as the 2^nd Coming.

SJ went through Christianity first. After he spends 6 years studying Koine Greek, etc., he will formidable. Even though just 10% of the people are intellectual, you need lions and warriors to advance the faith. But he also has had physical training and is teaching bushcrafting. He is becoming a Renaissance man.

Apologetics education is needed to persuade 2^nd Gen that God exists. Without that the Divine Principle doesn’t make sense. They grew up surrounded by a satanic culture and government schools. He praised Jonathan Wells for his critique of evolutionary theory who wrote several books about these issues.

When Hyung Jin Nim was leading the Unification Church in Korea, they would challenge people to public debates. Christians base their theology on sacrificial offerings in the Old Testament and portray Jesus as the final sacrifice. A key reason for the deity of Jesus is that he could forgive sin, which he did before he died. So his death was not required to establish his authority to forgive sins.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 we are told to repent for our sins and God would heal our land. Repentance is the key requirement. Israel’s failure to repent was the reason Jesus had to go the way of the cross.

Western women are starting to wake up to dark side of Muslim. Young naked girls are promoted in pagan culture. Statues of Ishtar and other fertility goddesses show naked young women. The Bible is different. It praises older women who are wise.

After the New Orleans attack, there is the strong possibility of more terrorist attacks. If you’re not allowed because of political correctness to say it’s Islamic terrorism, you can’t fight it.

It took Christianity hundreds of years to fight back against Muslims who took over Spain, and almost conquered Vienna. Where Islam takes over, the women have to wear burkas, or die. They have no free speech.

True Father spoke about the actualized word. Why did he, as an 80-year-old, go out in the wilderness every day? To create a culture of training. People would ask True Father to rest, he would answer “God has not rested even one day!” Our goal is to create a strong and capable civilization that honors God.
